Nease Touchdown Club Booster Information
Name and Purpose
The name of the boosters shall be the Allen D. Nease High School’s (NHS) The Golden Panther Booster Club (GPBC), a recognized 501 (c) 3 program. The Nease Touchdown Club (herein known as the Booster Club or Booster) a subsidiary of the Golden Panther Booster Club, supports the Nease Football Program specifically.The base of operations for the transactions of the business of the organization shall be in Ponte Vedra, St. Johns County, Florida.
The purposes for which the Boosters are formed are as follows:
- Section 1. As an active group of NHS alumni, parents, business associates and concerned members of the community, we will strive to improve the football program at Allen D. Nease High School. These improvements will consist of, but not be limited to, furnishing athletic facilities and fields, providing top quality meals and transportation for our student athletes.
- Section 2. It is our purpose to work in conjunction with the Coaches and administration of NHS to improve all aspects of our football program and to promote high academic standards.
- Section 3. It is our purpose to assist in building character and commitment, to set high moral examples, to teach honesty, courtesy, respect, integrity, discipline and hard work. It is not our intent to make all our athletes winners, but to instill a winning attitude in all our athletes.
This Touchdown Club shall comply with the St. Johns County School District (SJCSD) policies, Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) regulations, and Federal and Florida State laws for booster clubs.
